Interoptics and Aboriginal View

Commitment to eye health in underprivileged countries
At this time four years ago we closed the doors of Interoptics for the first time to set sail on our first adventure to the African continent, in this case to the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco. We never imagined that this expedition would lead us to create a non-profit association to help people with vision problems in countries with few resources.
What we experienced in those mountains of the Rif and in our next intervention in the Sahara desert pushed us to create Aborigen View, a direct action NGO whose main objective is to bring visual health to vulnerable countries through volunteer programs. Today, four years later, we have projects in three countries; Gambia, Senegal and the Sahara and we have been able to assist more than 4000 people with visual deficiencies, we have delivered more than 2000 glasses, 300 eye drops, taken more than 300 kilos of medicines and school material, besides getting our own assistance center in Gambia, Aborigen View Kunda, where we have an optometry office, and creating our awareness program in schools to raise awareness among young people about the importance of prevention and protection to avoid future visual pathologies and cases of blindness.
Thanks to all of you who, through Interoptics, have allowed us to get this far. Thanks to all of you who have contributed financially or donated material to be able to carry out our projects, to all of you who have been by our side and in general to all Interoptics customers for making possible the existence of this beautiful project that is Aborigen View.
